The largest rooftop solar power plant in Iran was inaugurated at the Khak-Chini factory with the presence of the CEO of Shasta and the representative of the people of Marand in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.<\/span>
According to the Public Relations Department of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASICO), this plant, with a production capacity of two megawatts, was constructed within approximately two months at a cost of more than 58 billion tomans.<\/span>
Its transportation and installation began during the 12-day war launched by the Zionist regime against Iran. The Khak-Chini factory, which consumes 4.5 megawatts of electricity daily, will now supply two megawatts of that demand through its new solar facility.<\/span>
Mohammadreza Saeedi, CEO of Shasta, while thanking the managers of Khak-Chini Company, workers, and the Marand representative for addressing energy imbalance issues, stated: \u201cShasta is not indifferent to energy shortages. From the very beginning, we formed an energy committee to resolve imbalances affecting our production.\u201d<\/span>
He added: \u201cWe have inaugurated nine solar power plants so far, and 14 additional solar panel projects are currently underway across the Cement Holding, Tassico, Sadr Tamin, Tapico, and the Energy Holding.\u201d<\/span>
Saeedi further said that despite some negative publicity, Shasta\u2019s management has made significant efforts to resolve challenges under difficult economic conditions. \u201cSome \u2018extortionist news outlets\u2019 spread false information and wrong the 70,000 workers and employees of the Shasta group, but we will not be influenced by such distractions,\u201d he said.<\/span>
Referring to the inauguration of another solar power plant in Khash, Saeedi noted: \u201cCompanies like Khak-Chini can be pioneers in this field, and we recommend increasing the company\u2019s research and development budget.\u201d<\/span>
He emphasized that if the company\u2019s revenues increase, wage disparities between its personnel and those of other Shasta companies can be eliminated. \u201cWe have increased the capital of Sadr Tamin Holding\u2014under which Khak-Chini operates\u2014by 10 trillion tomans, and we hope these measures will help resolve the challenges facing our companies.\u201d<\/span>
Ali Bayat Maku, CEO of Iran Khak-Chini Company, highlighted that the newly launched rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of two megawatts was built immediately after the 12-day war and succeeded in eliminating the company\u2019s daily loss of 5 billion tomans caused by power outages, reducing its energy costs ninefold.<\/span>
Also, Ezatollah Habibzadeh, the representative of the people of Marand and Jolfa, thanked the CEOs of Shasta and Khak-Chini for improving production and installing solar panels. He said: \u201cThe country faces a serious electricity imbalance, but Shasta is among the leading organizations in replacing expensive fossil energy with solar energy.\u201d<\/span>
He added that 170 workers of Khak-Chini were retained thanks to this project, and expressed hope that\u2014following the Shasta CEO\u2019s promise\u2014these workers would be granted permanent employment status.<\/span>
Addressing the issue of industrial water shortages, Habibzadeh stated: \u201cWe must have a long-term plan to solve the region\u2019s water problems to comprehensively address production imbalances. We have obtained assurances from the regional water authority to design an increase in water supply. Iran Kaolin company Company also plans to build a school and a sports complex in disadvantaged areas as part of its social responsibility, which is commendable.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
