Tehran- Iran Glass Wool Company managed to set a record with a sale of 4,841 tons of glass wool products in the domestic market and export in the first 5 months of this Iranian year to March 19, 2024.<\/p>\n
This company achieved a growth of 20 percent during March 21-August 22, 2023 compared to the same five months of the previous year, which was an unprecedented growth in comparison to those of similar periods of the previous years, the company\u2019s public relations reported on Saturday, September 9.<\/p>\n
Iran Glass Wool Company offered 80 percent of its glass wool products in the Iran Mercantile Exchange, aiming to trade in a consistent legal market and targeting the removal of the intermediaries.<\/p>\n
The company also managed to produce 3,135 tons of glass wool products in the first five months of this year, which was worth 1,580bn rials in this market. The sales continued their upward trend in the Iran Mercantile Exchange.<\/p>\n
Considering the perspective and sales strategy of the company and its plans, glass wool and Isogam (a type of anti-moisture and humidity insulator for covering the roof, pool, etc.) products are continuously and regularly offered in the market of Iran Mercantile Exchange to reduce the fluctuations, increase transparency and distancing from the traditional market. Considering the measures taken, a bright future would be predicted for these products in the market.<\/p>\n
Glass wool product export reached an unprecedented amount of 902 tons in the same period, showing a 158-percent increase compared to the first five months of the preceding year.<\/p>\n
The export trade of the glass wool product amounted to $748,000, reaching a new peak with an increase of 81 percent compared to the same five months of the last year.<\/p>\n
The sale of Isogam reached 1,316,000 square meters, recording a growth of 22 percent in the first five months of this year compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n
Glass wool is one of the most widely-used products in the insulation of the roof of sheds, installation channels of cold and hot water pipes, as well as in industries such as oil, gas, petrochemical, and power plants. Glass wool is exported to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
